Another One Bites the Dust

That title was specifically requested by Elder Van Overbeek as he left to go home.  This goodbye was truly the end of a great chapter for President and me in the Mission.  Elder Van Overbeek was AP when we arrived in July, and he and Elder Van de Graaff 'trained' us on how to be Mission President and wife.  They taught us everything we know about the mechanics of the mission and how to make it all run smoothly.  Elder Van de Graaff left in March, so with Elder Van Overbeek's departure--truly, a chapter has closed for us.  We love you Elder Van Overbeek.  We miss you and those opportunities to have our talks about 'important' things--like life, the gospel and our testimonies.  Thank you for who you are and what you have given to us.  Our lives are enriched because of your friendship.

The 'Last Meal' of the mission.

Personal Note:  We love this Elder.  Thank you so very much for all you have done for us.  From the minute we stepped off the plane, we have felt your love, friendship and unwavering support for us.  Thank you!  Elder Van Overbeek, we love you!
